Wearing the same company uniform, she was checking the flight schedule and arrangement printed on paper. I didn't mean to see it, but I unintentionally read her flight because I had an occupational disease.
She was one of the crew members flying to Singapore with me today.
There are hundreds of flight crews in the company alone. Even if it's the same company, chances of flying with a familiar colleague are very rare. Furthermore, I couldn't know anyone because it was my first day at work.
Maybe she saw me glancing, so she looked at me and checked the name tag on my uniform. But my unfamiliar foreign name seemed to make her unable to greet me willingly.
Limousine buses that entered the airport highway began to speed up.
Come to think of it, I had a connection with Incheon International Airport. I was born in the year when this place was completed and was immediately abandoned. This was the first time I took a plane with my adoptive parents on the day I went to Germany when I was eight years old.
I still remember the pilot's uniform, which showed me inside the cockpit while pinching my frozen cheek that day. He constantly talked to me in unknown languages, and there were two resolutions I made.
I should learn German quickly. And I should be a pilot.
It was already 22 years ago.
The bus ran nonstop on the highway while I was lost in this thought. Before I knew it, the sun came up completely and it was morning.
"Normally, it goes to B737?"
I decided to talk to the cabin crew who are sitting next to me practicing announcer diligently.
"What?"
She looked at me embarrassed by the sudden question.
"I heard that Singapore has been operated on the B737 so far."
"Oh…… yes………It's my first time going by air bus, too.
I wanted to say something more intimate, but I couldn't think of a topic. With her hair neatly turned on, she kept staring at me with her long eyelashes blinking. I looked embarrassed when I talked to him out of the blue and didn't continue my words. Well, I wasn't very eloquent.
